Liner Notes
BLUE DAWN presents TRiDENT at the beginning of its major-label chapter, using five songs to frame renewal as a sunrise rather than a clean break with the past. “Reimei no Uta” moves from a restrained opening into a wider, brighter arrangement, expressing the determination to leave hesitation behind. “NEW ERA” then gathers sharp guitar, mobile bass and precise drums into a chorus designed to be sung back, making the record’s promise of a new beginning explicit.
“MIRACRAID” keeps the speed and impact associated with the band while giving the melody and lyrical phrasing more room to register. “Koi no Magic Potion” changes the color through playful language and a buoyant rhythmic feel, demonstrating that TRiDENT’s identity is not limited to heaviness. The closing version of “Country Roads” translates a familiar melody into the trio’s own band language, leaving an afterglow that connects the idea of home with the decision to keep moving.
The EP succeeds because it balances the tight attack developed during the independent years with songs that communicate immediately to a broader audience. Rather than filling the arrangements with unnecessary layers, it keeps the three players at the center and gives each track a distinct emotional role. BLUE DAWN therefore feels less like a reset than a dawn built from everything TRiDENT learned between ADVANCE GENERATION and DUX.
