Payin' the Dues

The second album was recorded in February 1997 at Sunlight Studios in Stockholm, produced by the band with Andrew Shit — Anders Lindstrom — and Tomas Skogsberg, and released by White Jazz on 1 October 1997. The line-up is Nicke Andersson on vocals, guitars, piano and percussion, Dregen on guitars, backing vocals and percussion, Kenny Hakansson on bass and Robert Eriksson on drums and percussion, with Lindstrom, as Boba Fett, on piano. Lindstrom had come in shortly before the band supported Kiss on their Scandinavian dates in June 1997. After this record Andersson left Entombed altogether to give the Hellacopters all his time, and Dregen left in the middle of the tour to go back to Backyard Babies; his own account of it was that playing in two bands at once was too much hassle. It reached number nineteen in Sweden. The album has an entry on Spotify today but not one of its tracks will play, so this page leads with the sleeve rather than a player (checked 29 September 2026). The CD runs ten songs and the LP eleven, adding Sonic's Rendezvous Band's "City Slang". The running order here is the original CD's as printed.
