High Visibility

This is the first studio album with Robert Dahlqvist on guitar. Chips Kiesbye produced, Stefan Boman engineered and George Marino mastered. Nicke Andersson plays clavinet and percussion as well as singing and playing guitar, and Anders Lindström's organ and piano run underneath the whole record. Scott Morgan of Sonic's Rendezvous Band, Biff Malibu of Backyard Babies and Mattias Bärjed all appear, and there are two women on backing vocals. It is the point where the band's weight moves plainly from early garage punk to rock and roll with keyboards and harmonies. It came out on CD and on vinyl. The first LP pressing carried the music across three sides with an etching of the band's logo on the fourth; a second was a double 180-gram issue without the etching. Both LPs hold the bonus track "No Dogs". Gearhead Records put out a limited red-vinyl edition without it, and the Japanese CD adds "A Cross for Cain". The running order here is the original CD's as printed.
