Against the Law

Against the Law, the fifth album, appeared on 21 August 1990 with Tom Werman producing — his own official discography lists it as "Against The Law (Enigma, 1990)". Unlike the four before it, this one carries no RIAA certification. The association's Gold & Platinum database returns five awards under the band's name and this album is not among them. It also turned out to be the door into a long silence. Michael Sweet left in January 1992 to work on his own, and although the other three carried on for a time, no further studio album followed. The next record of new material would be Reborn in 2005 — fifteen years later.
