Live in London

Live in London captures a sold-out night at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in October 2022. earMUSIC released it on 20 September 2024 as a two-disc CD and DVD set (0219123EMU, JAN 4029759191230): sixteen songs, about an hour and nine minutes, filmed in 4K. Erik Grönwall was the singer through this period. The Gang’s All Here (2022) had been the band’s first record for earMUSIC, and the set takes ‘The Gang’s All Here’, ‘Tear It Down’ and ‘Time Bomb’ from it. Grönwall later left for health reasons, which leaves this the only official live release with him singing. The rest of the set leans on the first two albums. It opens on ‘Slave to the Grind’ and runs through ‘18 and Life’, ‘Piece of Me’, ‘In a Darkened Room’, ‘Monkey Business’ and ‘I Remember You’ before closing on ‘Youth Gone Wild’ — more than half the night drawn from the 1989 debut and 1991’s Slave to the Grind.
