LINER NOTES
LANGUAGE
Danger Zone, from 1984, was Sinner's first album for Noise Records — and the first album at all, by Mat Sinner's own count, since he treats the two records before it as demos. Dirk Steffens produced. The credits BMG delivers with the album digitally give the line-up as Mat Sinner on vocals and bass, Mick Shirley and SG Stoner on guitars and Ralf Schulz on drums; the rights line on every track now reads Sanctuary Records Group, a BMG company, the Noise catalogue having passed down that chain. Dissonance Productions reissued the four Noise albums together on 28 April 2023 as the box set Born to Rock - The Noise Years '84-'87, with new liner notes by Thorsten Zahn, formerly editor of Metal Hammer's German edition, built around a fresh interview with Mat Sinner. The closing track is printed "Danger II" on the 1984 sleeve, though the Japanese Victor edition titles it "Outro".
