Roorback

Roorback appeared in May 2003 on SPV/Steamhammer, and on Universal in Brazil. Sources disagree on the day, some giving 12 May and others the 27th. It was recorded through 2002 and 2003 at AR Studios in Rio de Janeiro and Guilas Studios in São Paulo, and produced by Steve Evetts. A roorback is a forged story put about to bring down an opponent in an election, a word that came from a hoax book in nineteenth-century America. Derrick Green sings, Andreas Kisser plays guitar, Paulo Jr. plays bass and Igor Cavalera plays drums. It reached number nineteen on the British rock and metal chart, seventeen on the American independent albums chart, forty-six in Germany, sixty-nine in Switzerland and seventy-seven in France. The standard pressing holds twelve songs and an outro, thirteen in all, and that is the running order here. A cover of U2's "Bullet the Blue Sky" is a bonus on the special edition, and the master the player on this page carries is the fourteen-track one that includes it.
