Nation

Nation came out in 2001 on Roadrunner; sources disagree on the day, some giving 2 March and others the 20th. Roadrunner Japan issued a twenty-track Japanese edition on 15 March 2002 as RRCY-11143. It was recorded through 2000 and 2001 at five studios — AR Studios in Rio de Janeiro, Ouvir in São Paulo, the Magic Shop in New York, Coyote in Brooklyn and Millbrook in Helsinki — and produced by the band with Steve Evetts, and by Hiili Hiilesmaa on the fifteenth song alone. Derrick Green sings, Andreas Kisser plays guitar, Paulo Jr. plays bass and Igor Cavalera plays drums. It carries more guests than any other record of theirs: Jello Biafra of the Dead Kennedys, Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed, Cristian Machado of Ill Niño, João Gordo of Ratos de Porão and Apocalyptica. It reached number 134 on the American Billboard 200, eight on the British rock and metal chart and nine in Poland. Fifteen songs; the running order here is that of the standard Roadrunner pressing, RR 8560-2.
