Kairos

Kairos came out on 24 June 2011 on Nuclear Blast, the band's first record for the label. It was recorded between December 2010 and March 2011 at Trama Studios in São Paulo, and Roy Z produced, engineered and mixed it himself. Derrick Green sings, Andreas Kisser plays guitar, Paulo Jr. plays bass and Jean Dolabella plays drums; it was Dolabella's second album with the band and his last. Kairos is the Greek word for the right moment rather than for time that runs in order, and Kisser has described the theme of the record as a concept of time that is not chronological. Of its fifteen songs, "Just One Fix" is a Ministry cover; a deluxe edition adds The Prodigy's "Firestarter" as well. It reached number forty-nine in Germany, forty-five in Switzerland and twenty-eight on the British rock and metal chart. Spotify carries several entities of this album and not one of them will play in this territory, so this page shows the sleeve instead of a player.
