The Roaring of Dreams

The Roaring of Dreams is the third Pride of Lions album, from 2007. The Frontiers import, FRCD323, came out on 19 February and King Records' Nexus imprint issued the Japanese edition two days later as KICP-1218. Speaking when it appeared, Jim Peterik described the record as a return to the more commercial AOR of the debut and of Vital Signs by his former band Survivor — said in contrast to The Destiny Stone, which had pushed into more progressive and epic territory. All twelve songs are his. The closing "Turnaround", over seven minutes long, brought in Toby Hitchcock's sister Tori Hitchcock as a guest for the first time. Hitchcock was by then cutting much of his vocal work at his own Integrity Studios in Evansville, Indiana. The Japanese edition, KICP-1218, adds "I Am My Father" for thirteen tracks and one hour four minutes twelve seconds. No official music video was made for this album.
