Immortal

Immortal, the fourth Pride of Lions album, was released by Frontiers Records on 21 September 2012 — five years after The Roaring of Dreams, the longest gap in the band's catalogue. The import is FR CD 566; King Records' Nexus imprint issued the Japanese edition on 24 October as KICP-1639. Its eleven songs make it the shortest of the band's import editions by track count. Jim Peterik had a hand in all of them, with Pamela McNeill credited alongside him on "Coin of the Realm". "Delusional" went out as an advance single in September 2012 and the label's channel posted a music video for it on 13 September — the only official film this album produced. The Japanese edition, KICP-1639, adds an acoustic version of "Everything That Money Can't Buy" for twelve tracks and fifty-six minutes thirty-two seconds. It is also the last Pride of Lions record King Records released in Japan; from Fearless onwards the Japanese editions came through Marquee.
