Fearless

Fearless is the fifth Pride of Lions album. Marquee released the Japanese edition on 25 January 2017 as MICP-11331 and the Frontiers import, FRCD768, followed on 27 January. It is the first of the band's records to come out in Japan through Marquee rather than King Records' Nexus imprint. Twelve songs, all of them with Jim Peterik's name on them, joined by Hal Butler on "Freedom of the Night" and Steve Salzman on "The Light in Your Eyes". Toby Hitchcock said around this time that he cuts most of his vocals in his own studio, which is a fair picture of how this band works: not everyone in one room, but files going back and forth. Four official films went out on the label's channel — official audio for "The Tell" on 29 November 2016, for "Silent Music" on 13 December and for "The Light In Your Eyes" on 4 January 2017, then a music video for "All I See Is You" on 18 January. Frontiers also released a two-part documentary about the record. The Japanese edition adds an acoustic version of "Everlasting Love" for thirteen tracks and fifty-seven minutes forty-three seconds.
