Lion Heart is the sixth Pride of Lions album, released by Frontiers Music on 9 October 2020, with Marquee's Japanese edition following on 14 October as MICP-11578. The import is FR CD 1067.
Twelve songs. Speaking about it in 2021, Jim Peterik said he had deliberately stripped away the complications of the records before it and aimed at straight AOR, and that it had drawn the best response of anything since the debut. He wrote all of it, with his Ides of March colleague Larry Millas joining him on "Carry Me Back" and "Unfinished Heart"; alongside the regular band, his son Colin Peterik and Kevin Campbell play on particular tracks.
Three official films came out on the label's channel: the video for "Carry Me Back" on 11 August 2020, a lyric video for the title track on 17 September, and official audio for "Heart Of The Warrior" on release day, 9 October. The Japanese edition runs to thirteen tracks with an acoustic "Unfinished Heart", one hour one minute and twenty-four seconds in all.
