Spooked is the seventh studio album, released by Massacre Records. The sources disagree on when: Wikipedia's discography gives November 24, 1997, the band's own site says 1998, and MusicBrainz records February 19, 1997. This site takes 1997, the majority reading, and the dated Wikipedia entry within it.
Thirteen songs makes it the longest record of the period. The first track is billed as "Intro/Resurrection," running the introduction straight into the song, and from there it moves through "Freakshow" and "Dead or Alive." Titles like "Die With Your Dreams" and "Live Until It Hurts" set the tone, while "If It Can't Be Love" and "Never too Late" give the vocal more room. The title track sits mid-record and "The One That Should Not Be" closes it.
This is the band after the CBS/Columbia years, working out of Germany with Massacre. No streaming service carries the album now, so its jacket here comes from the Cover Art Archive.
