In February 2025 Parkway Drive announced a one-night-only performance with a full symphony orchestra in the Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House on 9 June, presenting it as a black-tie celebration of the place they call home. The audience of 2,000 was seated, and the show sold out in three minutes. It was independently funded, on a budget likened to that of an entire European arena tour. Winston McCall told Rolling Stone Australia that recording the concert was a key reason for booking the venue, and the magazine reported that, with a film and a live album to capture in one night, the band rehearsed with the orchestra only once, four hours before showtime. The evening opened with a Welcome to Country delivered by Matthew Doyle, Brock Tutt and Josh Sly, before the band and the orchestra, conducted by Alec Roberts, began with "Home Is for the Heartless". The stage was dressed with native flora and artificial moss, and the audience stayed seated for most of the show. The set drew on the whole of the band's career: rapper Nooky joined "Shadow Boxing" from Reverence, and Jenna McDougall, formerly of Tonight Alive, sang on "A Deathless Song" from Ire, which was played live for the first time that night. "Wild Eyes" closed the concert. The album holds twenty songs from the night, ten on each disc, and credits Matthew Doyle on the opening "Welcome to Country". The concert was filmed for the documentary Parkway Drive: HOME, and the album is its soundtrack. The film was directed by Allan Hardy, who had worked with the band on Viva the Underdogs, together with Macario De Souza; Hype Republic produced it and Mushroom Studios is its distributor. It also shows McCall rappelling 65 metres from a helicopter onto the sails of the Opera House. A live video of "Prey" was released first, in October 2026. The double CD comes from Epitaph Records, and from Parkway Records in Australia, with triple-LP editions as well, and carries a release date of 4 December 2026.
