Paradise Lost

Paradise Lost's tenth album came out on 17 March 2005, their second for GUN / Supersonic Records, catalogue GUN 210, and the only one of their albums to carry the band's own name. Lee Morris had left in March 2004, and this is the first record with his successor, Jeff Singer, on drums. Greg Reely mastered it at The Green Jacket Studios, and the artwork is by Seth Siro Anton. Marquee, the band's Japanese label in later years, sees it as the album that brought Paradise Lost back to metal: the feeling of their old gothic and melancholic metal returned, it writes, to the delight of their long-time fans. "Forever After" was released as a single. The band's own page for the album lists fourteen tracks, the original twelve plus String Dub Mixes of "Don't Belong" and "Over the Madness". The track list here is the original twelve, and the player on this page carries the same twelve.
