Killhammer

Killhammer is a work on which MYSTIC PROPHECY stacked sharp guitar riffs, heavy rhythm and powerful vocals, sounding hard-nosed power metal. The songs are linear, but the choruses have big melody, with aggression and melodic sense in balance. On this record, a more thrash-metal-leaning aggressive sound stands out. On “Killhammer,” “Armies Of Hell” and “Kill The Beast,” even the fast songs do not lose weight, and in mid-tempo the pressure of the riffs stands out more. Covers of Iron Maiden’s “Children Of The Damned” and Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train” are also included. Songs like “Hate Black,” “300 In Blood” and “Set The World On Fire” breathe the band’s full playing too. It is a full record answering those who seek fist-raising orthodox metal.
