Ravenlord is a power-metal work on which MYSTIC PROPHECY foregrounded hard guitar riffs, heroic choruses and powerful vocals. The songs proceed linearly, but shadow and elation coexist in the melody. It is a record on which the band’s signature fighting spirit and drama were further deepened.
On “Ravenlord,” “Eyes of the Devil” and “Wings of Destiny,” they make you feel the band’s pressure not only in speed but in heavy mid-tempo. A cover of Ozzy Osbourne’s “Miracle Man” is also included.
