Rock 'n' Roll

Rock 'n' Roll is a studio album released on 5 September 1987 by GWR, the CD as GWCD14 and the vinyl as GWLP 14. Nine tracks, produced by the band with Guy Bidmead at Master Rock and Redwood studios in London. The players are Lemmy Kilmister on bass and vocals and Phil Campbell and Würzel on guitars, with Pete Gill on drums. Gill left in June 1987, before the album appeared, and Phil Taylor returned. The fourth track, "Stone Deaf in the USA", carries a spoken passage by Michael Palin of Monty Python, which the current deluxe edition notes in the song's own title. It reached No. 34 on the Official Albums Chart. An official music video was made for "Eat the Rich". GWR issued the Japanese pressing on 21 November 1987 as VDP-1288.
