Crücial Crüe 1981-1989 gathers the five studio albums MOTLEY CRUE released from 1981 to 1989, Too Fast for Love, Shout at the Devil, Theatre of Pain, Girls, Girls, Girls and Dr. Feelgood, on five CDs. BMG issued it on 10 July 2026 alongside a five-LP picture-disc set. There are no bonus tracks; the five come to fifty-one tracks.
It is a new form of BMG's box Crücial Crüe: The Studio Albums 1981-1989, announced in November 2022 on coloured vinyl and on CD: here each CD is styled as a picture disc, in a side-loading box, and Tower Records' label copy gives a limit of 4,500 sets worldwide. Its release was timed to the North American tour The Return of the Carnival of Sins, twenty years after the Carnival of Sins tour of 2006.
