LINER NOTES
LANGUAGE
The fourth album, released on 14 November 1989 on Sire Records, the US catalogue number 9 26004-2. Nine songs, from Thieves to Dream Song. It pushes further along the line The Land of Rape and Honey had set in 1988. The band's own biography treats these years as the period in which Al Jourgensen redrew the post-punk axis itself. On the next record, Psalm 69 in 1992, rock elements were added to the industrial noise and a new hybrid came of it. The running order here is the original release's as printed.
