LANGUAGE
Outerstellar is Michael Monroe's eleventh solo album, his first since I Live Too Fast to Die Young! in 2022. Silver Lining Music released it on 20 February 2026 and Victor Entertainment issued the Japanese edition the same day.
The line-up has not moved since 2014: Steve Conte and Rich Jones on guitars, Sami Yaffa on bass, Karl Rockfist on drums, and Monroe on vocals, harmonica and tenor and baritone saxophone. Dave Draper mixed the record and Svante Forsback mastered it; Morgan Fisher, formerly of Mott the Hoople, guests on piano.
Three songs arrived ahead of the album with official videos of their own: the opener "Rockin' Horse", "Shinola" and "Disconnected". Twelve songs is the same length as its predecessor, and the design has not changed since the 1987 solo debut either — short, fast and singable, carried into 2026 intact.
