Reload (Remastered Deluxe Box Set) builds a numbered, limited box around the remaster of METALLICA's seventh studio album, first released on 18 November 1997. The band's own Blackened Recordings issued it on 26 June 2026, after the boxes for Metallica (2021) and Load (2025); Reuben Cohen remastered it at Lurssen Mastering, with Greg Fidelman overseeing.
The album comes on two 180-gram LPs, with a 7-inch of "The Memory Remains" and three LPs of the band's show at London's Ministry of Sound on 13 November 1997, and then fifteen CDs and four DVDs. After the remastered album, the CDs hold Shadowcast, four discs of riffs, demos, vocal ideas and rough mixes from the 1995-97 sessions, then the 1997 Reading Festival set, the Bridge School Benefit and other acoustic dates, Brisbane and Giants Stadium in 1998, and two discs of soundboard recordings from the 1997-98 tour, the Nippon Budokan among them. The DVDs include Banned in Philly, the pop-up show in a Philadelphia parking lot on 11 November 1997. A 128-page hardcover book, replica tour passes and a poster complete the box; the CDs carry 205 tracks.
