That One Night: Live in Buenos Aires

LANGUAGE
That One Night: Live in Buenos Aires was recorded on October 9, 2005 at Obras Sanitarias Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and released on September 4, 2007.
Megadeth that night were a four-piece: Dave Mustaine, Glen Drover, James MacDonough and Shawn Drover. It is the only official release to document MacDonough’s time in the band, which alone gives it standing as a record. It is also known as the night Mustaine stated that Megadeth would continue beyond the 2005 tour.
The set runs to twenty-one songs across two discs, from “Blackmail The Universe” to “Holy Wars... The Punishment Due.” Staples from the Rust in Peace and Countdown to Extinction years sit in the same run as material from the then-current The System Has Failed, so roughly twenty years of repertoire plays as one continuous performance.
The other lead voice here is the crowd. South American audiences sing guitar riffs back at the stage, and there are passages where the room reaches the listener before the band does. This is a live album to take as one night’s atmosphere rather than as a set of alternate versions.
