In the Beginning - The Best of 2017-2021

In the Beginning - The Best of 2017-2021 gathers songs chosen by fans worldwide, voting through social media, from the three full albums, two mini-albums and one single LOVEBITES had released by then. It came out on 22 December 2021. The thing that matters most about it is the one entirely new song. "Nameless Warrior" was written after the departure of the bassist miho had been settled and recorded while she was still in the band: the last song the original line-up made. A music video was shot for it, and sits on the video disc packaged with the album. The CD material was remastered afresh by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios in Finland. This is not a compilation that simply re-sequences existing masters; the sound itself was redrawn. The editions run from standard (2CD plus video) through deluxe (4CD) to ultimate (5CD), and every one of them carries the disc of all ten music videos. The title looks back at a beginning, and it also states plainly that what follows will be a different chapter.
