Freeman

Freeman is a work on which LABYRINTH, based on fast riffs and flowing lead guitar, layered bright, soaring vocals. Even with many technical developments, singable melody is always placed at the center of the songs. Centered on a certain person’s story, it is a conceptual record. On “Deserter,” “Freeman” and “Face and Pay,” the color of the keyboards and the breadth of the choruses give the album a positive elation. Songs like “Dive in Open Waters,” “Malcolm Grey” and “Infidels” breathe the band’s full playing too. While having a narrative quality, the hook of each song is clear. It is a full record on which LABYRINTH’s precision and accessibility are balanced.
