LINER NOTES
LANGUAGE
Coma of Souls was released on 6 November 1990 by Noise International, and by Epic Records outside Germany; the Japanese edition followed on 21 December as ESCA 5241. It was recorded at Eldorado Recording Studios and Image Studios in Hollywood, produced by Randy Burns.
It sets out the speed and the riffing the band had built through the 1980s in a recording you can hear clearly. Billboard compared the writing favourably with Metallica and Nuclear Assault. It reached number eighty-three in Germany.
The band is Mille Petrozza on vocals and rhythm guitar, Frank "Blackfire" Gosdzik on lead guitar, Rob Fioretti on bass and Ventor on drums; it is the first Kreator album with Gosdzik.
Ten songs, 44 minutes and 45 seconds. Noise reissued it in 2018 with a Fürth, Germany concert from 6 December 1990 added, and that is the master the player on this page runs; the running order here is that of the original, Noise N 0158-2.
