EpisodeØ is the first compact statement under the HAGANE name, and it already defines much of the band’s later direction. Clear vocals, bright speed and sharp guitar interplay are condensed into a short track list, showing that HAGANE aimed for polished melodic metal from the start. The opening “BRAVE” turns the band’s forward-stepping spirit straight into sound, “Connect” and “SoulBeats” join hard-edged playing with catchy melody, and the closing “WintrySky” leaves a vivid afterglow of fresh melody and speed. Rather than leaning into heaviness for its own sake, it carries an uplifting force that pulls the listener forward. It is an origin point that already contains many of the qualities to come — the transparency and steel-like hardness that would become HAGANE’s signatures are clearly budding here, in a short but dense debut.
