Brand New Revolution

Brand New Revolution is Gus G.'s second solo album, released the year after I Am the Fire: in Japan on 22 July 2015 by King Records and elsewhere on 24 July by Century Media Records. It keeps the approach of the first record. Gus G. wrote all of the songs and brought in different singers for different tracks; King Records names three of them — Elize Ryd, Mats Levén and Jeff Scott Soto — and Levén, who had sung four songs on the debut, was back again. The opening "The Quest" is an instrumental, so the album begins with the guitar alone. Century Media put out a lyric video for "Burn" before the release and a video for the title track on the day, followed in November by "What Lies Below", sung by Elize Ryd, and in 2016 by a video for "The Quest". The Japanese edition adds a second recording of "What Lies Below" with Heather St. Marie singing, so only that edition lets a listener hear the song with both voices.
