However, Chris and Dan set a clear goal to go in the exact opposite direction: to create "Happy Metal"—fast, melodic metal centered around major keys that would bring happiness to listeners.

Together with renowned producer Charlie Bauerfeind, they completed a six-track demo tape. Charlie Bauerfeind is a titan among German metal producers who has worked with bands like Angra, Blind Guardian, and Helloween. By presenting this demo tape to multiple record labels, he secured the band's ticket to their debut.

2.3 Completion of the First Line-up

Having decided on the band name FREEDOM CALL, they sought to expand their line-up ahead of their debut.
