Quarantième: Live à Paris

Quarantième: Live à Paris documents the Paris concert from Dream Theater's fortieth-anniversary tour. InsideOut Music released it on 28 November 2025, and the Japanese edition came out on Sony Music Labels as a three-disc Blu-spec CD2 set (JAN 4547366778816): nineteen songs, about two hours and forty-seven minutes. The title word, quarantième, is French for 'fortieth'. The set is laid out to cross those forty years. 'Metropolis Pt. 1', 'Under a Glass Moon' and 'Pull Me Under' come from 1992's Images and Words; 'The Mirror' from 1994's Awake; and 'Overture 1928', 'Strange Déjà Vu', 'Home' and 'The Spirit Carries On' from 1999's Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory. From the middle onward the weight shifts to later albums and to length. 'As I Am' comes from 2003's Train of Thought, 'Vacant' from 2016's The Astonishing, 'Barstool Warrior' from 2019's Distance over Time, and the title track of 2005's Octavarium is played at its full twenty-four minutes. The night ends on 'Pull Me Under' — back at the first album the band is known for.
