Lost Not Forgotten Archives: Live in Tokyo, 2010 is the twenty-second release in the official bootleg series Dream Theater have run since 2021. Sony Music Labels put the Japanese edition out on 11 March 2026, two days ahead of the import and digital release on 13 March; it is SICP 31844, a limited pressing on Blu-spec CD2. The recording is from Summer Sonic on 8 August 2010, the band's first appearance at a Japanese festival, where they headlined the Mountain Stage. It was also the closing night of the world tour behind 2009's Black Clouds & Silver Linings — and the last performance Mike Portnoy, a founding member, gave with the band before leaving. He announced his departure a month later and returned in October 2023. There are six items but the songs are long. 'A Nightmare To Remember', 'A Rite Of Passage', 'Wither' and 'The Count Of Tuscany' all come from the album then being toured, and 'The Count Of Tuscany' alone runs past twenty minutes. 'Prophets Of War' is from Systematic Chaos in 2007. The night ends by joining 'Pull Me Under' to 'Metropolis', two of the songs that define the Images and Words period of 1992. The whole runs about seventy-five minutes. What makes the release possible is that the show was recorded in full, for a later television broadcast as much as for the archive, rather than captured as festival ambience. The Japanese edition's artwork is a kaleidoscope figure suggesting cherry blossom.
