LINER NOTES
LANGUAGE
Starfall is DRAGONLAND's third studio album, first released in Japan on 27 October 2004. It stands apart from the Dragonland Chronicles saga that ran through the first two records; together with the fourth album, Astronomy, it sits outside that story. The album is closely tied to EVERGREY's Tom S. Englund, who appears as co-producer and as lead and backing vocalist. Production is credited jointly to Arnold Lindberg, DRAGONLAND and Tom S. Englund; Lindberg mixed the record and Dragan Tanaskovic mastered it. The singer Johanna Andersson guests on vocals, and per Wikipedia Englund's EVERGREY bandmate Henrik Danhage also guests. On the playing side, Nicklas Magnusson and Olof Mörck handle guitars, Elias Holmlid the synthesizers and Christer Pedersen the bass, while Starfall is the first album to feature Jesse Lindskog on drums. The cover artwork is by ToxicAngel. It came out first in Japan, on King Records' Metal Frontier line (KICP-1024), on 27 October 2004; Century Media (77512-2) issued the European edition in 2005 and Magick Records the US edition that December.
