To the Light

To the Light shapes Blindman’s lyrical melody, expansive vocals and precise guitar work into traditional hard rock with care. The songs value melody, yet the rhythm and guitars carry enough firmness to keep the music from drifting into lightness. As its title suggests, the record has an open, positive sense of release. At the same time, ballads and mid-tempo tracks bring real shade, so the album avoids a single emotional color. A rewarding example of Japanese melodic hard rock built around strong songcraft.
