Unseen World raises BAND-MAID’s intensity as a hard-rock band. From the explosive opening of “Warning!” through “NO GOD” and “After Life,” the album combines speed, weight and vocal clarity at once. The arrangements are full of rhythmic detail, yet the songs remain focused and memorable, which is the record’s greatest appeal.
“Manners” and “Giovanni” let classic rock instincts, modern production and progressive turns intersect. Japanese-language, emotion-driven pieces such as “SAYONAKIDORI -Nightingale” and “HONKAI -Ambition” sit beside the sheer aggression of “CHEMICAL REACTION” and “BLACK HOLE,” giving the track list a wide swing that carries through to “without holding back.” Every player is active, but the performances converge into forward motion rather than excess.
