Liner Notes
The End Is Not The End is Atreyu's tenth album, tying metalcore's ferocity to modern-rock openness. Described by the band itself as "their heaviest and most adventurous," it was written in the contrasting settings of Tokyo and San Juan Island, Washington. With producer Matt Pauling, it was released in April 2026 through Spinefarm. Around the release, the band set out on a spring 2026 tour supporting Sevendust. Brandon Saller and Porter McKnight share the vocals, carving raw passion over a mechanized, metallic surge.
The lead single "Dead," posing questions around death, is a signature song full of drive. "Children of Light" features Max Cavalera, known for Sepultura and Soulfly, shaped into a primal "festival song" inspired by classic Sepultura. Dan Jacobs and Travis Miguel's guitars and Kyle Rosa's drums support a robust foundation. Balancing soaring melody with weight, it is a powerful record marking a new challenge for the band.
