In Our Wake retains Atreyu’s sharp riffs and breakdowns while putting the force of the choruses in clear view. Brandon Saller’s clean delivery and Alex Varkatzas’ rougher voice cross paths to create both weight and accessibility. The title track and “The Time Is Now” keep metalcore aggression but also carry an open, live-ready sense of release. Rather than leaning on elaborate devices, the album values forward motion and direct emotional impact. It is a strong modern heavy-rock record that joins the band’s two sides without strain.
