Liner Notes
On Three, Christopher Amott sings. He played the guitar, wrote the songs, and took the microphone as well. The result is almost purely power metal, two steps away from the melodic death of the debut. It is fair to say Armageddon became three different bands across three albums; the only constant was him.
This one too came out on Toy's Factory, Japan only. Amott had just finished a world tour with Arch Enemy and had come back to the side project. Arch Enemy released Anthems of Rebellion the following year and toured the world again. In 2005, immediately after recording Doomsday Machine, he left Arch Enemy — and Armageddon went quiet for over a decade.
On the year: this database says 2002, which matches Wikipedia. The label's own 2014 announcement, and every magazine that reprinted it, says 2003. No year is asserted here.
