ABSOLUTE WORLD

Absolute World is Anthem's fifteenth studio album, released on 22 October 2014 as UICN-9026. At the end of 2013 Naoto Shibata talked the matter over with Eizo Sakamoto and decided to change singers, bringing back Yukio Morikawa, who had held the job from 1988 to 1992. At the same time Isamu Tamaru, who had already played most of the drums on Burning Oath, became a full member, completing the line-up of Shibata, Akio Shimizu, Morikawa and Tamaru. The album is credited to Anthem as producer. "Shine On" went out as a digital single on 1 October 2014 and opens the record, which runs a little over fifty minutes and holds several songs the band has played live ever since, among them "Destroy The Boredom", "Don't Let It Die" and "Run With The Flash". "Absolute Figure" is an instrumental. An official music video was made for "Shine On".
