Antifragile

Antifragile is the tenth album, polished as a 2025 record around metalcore's hard riffs and emotional hooks derived from melodic metal. Released in January 2025. Alongside Jason Richardson, who carried the band after Oli Herbert's death, bassist Matt Deis (who joined in 2022) and drummer Anthony Barone (2023) take part in earnest. The breakdowns are heavy and the guitars chug sharply, but the songs aren't confined to aggression alone. Roars and clean singing complement each other, bringing anger, pain and the will to move forward clearly to the surface. Even the compact songs have undulation in their development, and the rhythmic drops strengthen the choruses' sense of release. Starting with the advance single “Divine,” “No Tomorrow,” “Let You Go” and “Forever Cold” were unveiled in turn. Through to the closing “Blood & Stone,” there's no waste across ten songs. Beyond enjoying the weight, watch for the moments where melody functions as an outlet for emotion. More than twenty years on from the debut, a resilient album offering modern sonic pressure and the band's own melodic sense at once.
