Deep Exceed is Aldious’ debut, joining bright twin guitars, speed-driven rhythm and soaring vocals in a traditional melodic-metal frame. The opening rush from the “Luft -Opening-” intro into “Luft” announces the band vividly, and even at full pace the songs keep their choruses clearly defined, turning instrumental flash into lift. Japanese-tinged pieces such as “夜蝶” and “紫苑” sit beside the aggression and technique of “Dual Personality” and “Across,” giving the debut real range. On “Ultimate Melodious” and “Premixed Flame,” fluent lead guitar and clear vocals move as one to deliver the pleasures of traditional metal. Beyond the flash, the strength of each melody and the care in the arrangements stand out. It is a memorable first step that made the band an early focal point in Japan’s girls’ metal scene, with Aldious’ aesthetic already clearly in place.
