The guitars avoid needless decoration and carve out the phrases at each song’s center; bass and drums create a feet-on-the-ground weight. The vocals do more than reach upward: they lift the melodies and give the choruses real arrival. Fast tracks and mid-tempo pieces share the same direct, durable push.
