Level Eleven is a fulfilling work on which Last Autumn's Dream builds up the clear transparency, deep sorrow and flowing beautiful choruses particular to Nordic melodic rock extremely carefully. The guitar, by no means asserting too much, is placed to gently enfold the sweet singing, giving the whole song a soft, sure drive. A record where the band’s mature songcraft shines. Mikael Erlandsson’s warm voice is also an appeal. From the powerful drive of the opener “Kiss Me” and the drama of “Follow Your Heart” to a cut like “Fight the World,” every song is engaging, while cuts like “Losing You” and “I’ll B There 4 U” convey the work’s fullness. Clear keyboards richly color that lyrical world.
