『II』は、2022年の『Second Skin』から4年を経て、ICONICが2026年7月31日にフロンティアーズから届ける第2作である。編成は動いていない。ネイサン・ジェイムズ(ヴォーカル)、マイケル・スウィート(ギター)、ジョエル・ホークストラ(ギター)、マルコ・メンドーサ(ベース)、そして75歳のトミー・オルドリッジ(ドラム)。鍵盤にはアントニオ・アガーテ、コーラスにはマルコ・パストリーノが加わり、前作で鍵盤とコーラスを担ったアレッサンドロ・デル・ヴェッキオの名はここにない。曲の大半はスウィートとホークストラの手によるという。 先行して公開されたのは2曲である。4月の“Cry No More”は冒頭を飾る一曲で、スウィートは「ICONICが何者かを完璧に表している」と述べ、ホークストラは「クラシック・ロックのファンに、演奏でも音作りでも生々しく本物のものを届けたい」と語った。5月の“Tears Keep On Falling”はパワー・バラードで、ジェイムズは「スタジオで歌っていて本当に楽しかった。素晴らしいサビだ」と話している。全11曲、締めは“Heart Of Stone”。オルドリッジがホワイトスネイクでの長い任期を終えた直後の一枚でもある。

II is the second album, arriving from Frontiers on 31 July 2026, four years after 2022's Second Skin. The line-up has not moved: Nathan James (vocals), Michael Sweet (guitars), Joel Hoekstra (guitars), Marco Mendoza (bass) and the 75-year-old Tommy Aldridge (drums). Antonio Agate joins on keyboards and Marco Pastorino on backing vocals — Alessandro Del Vecchio, who played keys and sang harmonies on the debut, is not among the credits this time. Most of the songs are said to come from Sweet and Hoekstra. Two tracks were released ahead of it. April's “Cry No More” opens the record; Sweet called it a perfect representation of who Iconic is, and Hoekstra said he hoped it would give classic rock fans something raw and real in both playing and production. May's “Tears Keep On Falling” is a power ballad, and James said he loved singing it in the studio and that the chorus is a great one. There are eleven tracks, closing on “Heart Of Stone.” It also arrives just after Aldridge's long tenure in Whitesnake came to an end.
