『Legacy』は、結成20周年を迎えたFIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCHが放つ、記念すべき第10スタジオ・アルバムだ。2026年7月31日にデジタル、9月18日にCD・アナログ・カセットでリリースされ、レーベルはBetter Noise Musicが手掛ける。デビュー作以来初めてケヴィン・チャーコをプロデューサーに立てない作品であり、約3年をかけて30曲近くの中から選び抜かれたという。ギターのズォルタン・バソリーは本作を、20年の道のりで得た教訓や勝利、苦難を振り返る内容だと語っている。 先行シングルは、2026年5月に公開された“Eye of the Storm”と、6月の“De Oppresso Liber”の2曲。後者についてバソリーは、自らを守れない者のために危険の前に立つ姿勢を象徴すると述べている。前者は重いリフとメロディを兼ね備え、ロック・ラジオで上位に食い込む好スタートを切った。全10曲・約37分という、バンド史上最も短い構成を採り、初期の荒々しい衝動と直撃力への回帰を志向しているとされる。20年の歩みへの敬意と、なお先を見据える姿勢を併せ持つ本作は、FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCHの現在地を鮮明に映し出す節目の一枚となる。

Legacy is the milestone tenth studio album from Five Finger Death Punch, who have reached their twentieth anniversary. Released digitally on July 31, 2026 and on CD, vinyl and cassette on September 18, 2026, it is handled by the label Better Noise Music. It is the band's first album since their debut not to have Kevin Churko as producer, and was reportedly selected from nearly thirty songs written over some three years. Guitarist Zoltan Bathory has described it as a reflection on the lessons, victories and struggles of a two-decade journey. The lead singles are "Eye of the Storm," released in May 2026, and "De Oppresso Liber" in June; of the latter, Bathory has said it represents a willingness to stand between danger and those who cannot defend themselves. The former, combining heavy riffs with melody, got off to a strong start climbing high on rock radio. Adopting a ten-song, roughly 37-minute shape — the shortest in the band's history — it is said to aim at a return to early raw impulse and direct impact. Holding both respect for a twenty-year path and an eye still fixed ahead, it is a landmark album that vividly reflects where Five Finger Death Punch stand now.
