『Wisdom』は、2022年7月8日にリーパー・エンターテインメントから出た復帰作である。レーベルはこれを第6作と呼ぶ。DBの並びでは5枚目に見えるが、間に『Divine Invitation』(2008年)が欠けているためで、数え方はレーベルの方が正しい。 2019年、バンドは「最も成功したラインナップ」で蘇った。タアゲ・ライホ、マルコ・プッキラ、トニー・スメジェバッカ、ヤニ・リーマタイネン——2004年の『Divinity』を作った顔ぶれである。新作は20周年に合わせる予定だったが、世界の状況がそれを許さなかった。バンドの言葉によれば、完成までに2年以上を要したという。「長い休みの後だと、自分たちに何を期待していいのか分からない。だが努力は報われたと本当に感じる」。制作はメンバー自身、録音も自分たちのスタジオで行われた。全10曲。“History of Times to Come”の再録音を含み、日本盤にはアクシスの“Kingdom of the Night”のカヴァーが追加されている。

Wisdom, released on 8 July 2022 by Reaper Entertainment, is the comeback. The label calls it the sixth album. It looks like the fifth in this database only because Divine Invitation (2008) is missing from the run; the label's count is the correct one. In 2019 the band came back with what they call their most successful line-up: Taage Laiho, Marko Pukkila, Tony Smedjebacka and Jani Liimatainen — the people who made Divinity in 2004. The new album was meant for their twentieth anniversary, but the state of the world did not allow it; by the band's account it took over two years to finish. After a break that long, they said, it is hard to know what to expect of yourselves, but it really felt like the work had paid off. They produced it themselves and recorded it in their own studio. Ten songs, including a re-recording of "History of Times to Come", with a cover of Axxis's "Kingdom of the Night" added on the Japanese edition.
