A fresh start as a four-piece: Sally joins, and a return to a major label

Lonesome_Blue debuted on Victor in 2022. After their guitarist left in 2023, the band carried on as a trio: two voice actors, Maiko Nomura (vocals) and Yuuki Hirose (bass, vocals), and MIZUKI (drums), who also works as a studio and support musician and is a member of East Of Eden.

At a one-man show in Asakusa, Tokyo, on May 22, 2026, the band announced a return to a major label with King Records, their first time on a major in about three and a half years, and that a new guitarist was joining. A YouTube live stream on June 2 revealed the new member as Sally, an official DEAN GUITARS JAPAN artist who released her first solo album, BURN IT, on MARQUEE/AVALON in February 2025.

The four-piece played its first show, Ready for Takeoff, at GRIT at Shibuya in Tokyo on July 25, and on August 26 King Records released their second full-length album, FOURTH DIMENSION. The title points to two fours: it is the band's fourth physical release, and the first with a fourth member. The lead track is “EVERGLOW”; Sally wrote the music for “Ideal Blue”, MIZUKI the music for “Blue Canvas”, and Maiko Nomura the lyrics for “Burn This Night”.

The first tour as a four-piece

Lonesome_Blue 4th ONE MAN LIVE TOUR 2026 “FOURTH DIMENSION” opened at ell FITS ALL in Aichi on Friday, September 11, went on to Daikanyama UNIT in Tokyo on September 18 and LIVEHOUSE enn 3rd in Miyagi on September 27, and ended at MUSE in Osaka on Sunday, October 4.

According to King Records' report on the Tokyo show of September 18, the set leaned on the new album, and new songs such as “New Breed” were played live for the first time. That night the stage looked different too: MIZUKI's drums had moved to the back in the centre, with Yuuki Hirose and Sally on either side.

Before January 16

Before then, the band's official schedule currently lists one more show: the Kakumei Logic 2026 circuit event across eleven venues in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, on Sunday, November 29.
