Osaka on December 5, Tokyo on December 12

The image that came with the post carries the title Asami Christmas Live 2026 and two dates, DEC 5 OSAKA and DEC 12 TOKYO. The shows fall on consecutive Saturdays, Osaka first and Tokyo a week later.

Only the dates and the cities are known so far; the venues, the door and start times and the way to apply for tickets have not been announced. The post says the details, including the venues and the start of ticket applications, will follow in late October.

Three Decembers at JZ Brat in Shibuya

Until now Asami Christmas Live has been held at JZ Brat SOUND OF TOKYO in Shibuya, Tokyo. The club's own schedule lists it on Saturday, December 23, 2023, Sunday, December 15, 2024 and Sunday, December 21, 2025, each time as two shows in one day, a 1st show starting at 15:30 and a 2nd at 19:30. The club describes it as a special cover show by Asami, LOVEBITES' vocalist, performing as a solo singer.

In 2025 Asami was backed by piano, guitar, bass, drums and backing vocals, with a guest on saxophone. Seats at the club were sold by lottery as a single Premium Seat, 19,800 yen including tax and service charge, which came with a glass of sparkling wine, an appetizer plate, a Christmas present from Asami and a send-off from Asami herself.

The 2024 and 2025 shows were also streamed. In 2025 ZAIKO sold a streaming ticket for each of the two shows at 3,900 yen plus a fee, and the streaming page said that, as a cover show, it would not be kept as an archive.

A day after LOVEBITES announced a year off the stage

The day before, on October 9, LOVEBITES had announced through their label Victor Entertainment that they will take all of 2027 off from live performances. New songs, the members' own projects and the band's social media carry on, and the shows return in 2028.

2026 still has stages left. The band plays the first day of FULL METAL JAPAN 2026 at Pia Arena MM on October 24, and Fami. holds a release show for her solo EP Hakoniwa at Shibuya Stream Hall on October 31. On December 20 Midori is a guest DJ at Masanori Ito's DJ event at Club Citta'.

Asami also sings as a guest on "Can You Hear Me" from BREAK THE SILENCE, the album by the German symphonic metal band Beyond the Black released on January 9, 2026.
