Infini

Infini came out on 23 June 2009 on Relapse in America, with Nuclear Blast issuing the European edition on 12 June and Victor Entertainment the Japanese one on 10 June as VICP-64672. It is the last album to use what guitarist Piggy, who died in 2005, had left behind, and the last with Jason Newsted on bass. Piggy's home recordings date from 2004; the rest was recorded between 2008 and 2009. The drums were done at Studio Vox in Montreal and the vocals at Studio D.O.C., with the bass at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, California. Newsted produced it with Glen Robinson and the band. Snake sings, Piggy plays guitar, Newsted plays bass and Away plays drums and drew the sleeve. Thirteen songs run to fifty-eight minutes. Where Katorz was short and hard, this one lets the songs run longer and brings back the interludes and the layers of sound. The running order here is the original's as printed.
