"XIII" Live at Toyosu PIT

“XIII” Live at Toyosu PIT records a show at Toyosu PIT in Tokyo on 1 October 2021. The XIII of the title is thirteen: the band formed in 2008 and this was their thirteenth year. It was released on 9 March 2022, a two-CD set (ANKM-0039/0040, 3,300 yen including tax) and a Blu-ray (ANKM-0038, 5,500 yen) on the same day. The first half of the show is the album Unfinished, played through. "Unfinished", "Unending Sorceress", "Near The End", "Kago no Tori", "Salome", "Make your choice", "Top of the ‘M’", "Dogura Magura", then a violin solo and "Carry on singing to the sky" — all nine songs, very nearly in album order. The second half turns to VAMPIR from 2015: "Vampir", "Opfer", "La voix du sang", "Phantom Blood" and "Angreifer" in a run, followed by two from CHANGE OF GENERATION, a drum solo and "Black Pentagram" to close. "Wings" and "Negai no Hakobune" are played acoustically in the middle. The band's channel carries two live films from this night, "Black Pentagram" and "‘M’ Revolution", and the release trailer. After the Blu-ray shipped, reports came in of discs that would not play, and the band put a link to the replacement desk at the top of their official site. That notice stayed on the front page for years.
